This chocolate bar started out as a handful of organic cocoa beans grown on the family-run Kablon Farms Estate in South Cotabato, The Philippines. These beans make their way to the U.K. where I carefully roast, winnow, stone grind, hand-temper and mould them in a process taking more than 72 hours.
The result is a subtle, smokey-sweet dark chocolate with notes of malt, biscuit, caramel and macadamia.
Kablon Farms is in its 4th generation as a family run company. They combine sustainable methods of farming and fair trade and are committed to producing high quality food products. These fantastic cocoa beans have only recently made their way into the UK craft chocolate scene and are slowly becoming recognised for their fantastic and unique flavour!
The chocolate bars are dairy free, nut free and soy free.
