As a teacher of more than 15 years, and a chocolate taster and educator, there’s nothing I love more than to share my passion and knowledge about chocolate with children. I get a real joy sharing the chocolate making process, from the sourcing, growing and harvesting of the cocoa beans, all the way through to finished chocolate products.
With the chocolate knowledge and experience that I have gathered, as a chocolate taster and maker, I have crafted a range of chocolate workshops that include exploration, making and plenty of hands-on activities to suit children of all ages and to meet your learning objectives.
Exciting, Educational and Delicious!
I work with children from Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 and have SEN teaching experience, meaning I can make sessions inclusive for all. Chocolate workshops are a brilliant way to get your pupils engaged and motivated to learn something new, and are planned in line with the National Curriculum. Whatever your teaching objectives, I am happy to discuss how we can achieve them with chocolate!
Sessions are delivered by Nicola Knight, a teacher with more than 15 years experience from Early Years to Key Stage 3, and SEN and a certified chocolate taster with the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting and chocolate maker.
All workshops are classroom based… no special facilities, coaches, permission forms or weeks of planning required!
